IRVINE, Calif. – November 14, 2013 – Container loads of Navien’s new NCB series combi-boilers have been shipping out of the company’s Irvine CA warehouse. Ideal for the energy conscious consumer, this space-saving unit represents a whole new category of condensing combination boilers. While small in size, 28”h x 17”w x 12”d, the NCB wall-hung combi-boiler is strong enough to heat a large home, and at the same time, supply it with more than enough domestic hot water for two showers and a dishwasher. It is engineered with similar contractor-friendly-features to Navien’s popular NPE tankless water heaters – ½”gas capability up to 24’ and low exhaust gas temperatures that allow use of PVC, CPVC, ULC-S636 and polypropylene vent systems, up to 60’ with 2” and 150’ with 3”. With AFUE energy efficiency ratings of up to 93.6, Navien’s NCB earns an ENERGY STAR® label.
